On 26-06-2023, he along with his friend Rakesh Manhar was riding on the back seat of a bike when they met a road accident by a truck. His friend was injured in this accident while Devraj came under the truck. They were taken to the nearest hospital immediately. The team of doctors declared him dead. He was just 22 years old and had a large fan following. Bhupesh Bhagel, the chief minister of Chhattisgarh expressed grief by twitted Devraj’s old video. The responsible for the accident truck driver named Rahul Mandal has been arrested. He was residing in Avanti Vihar, Raipur in the state of Chhattisgarh, India.
