Career

She started her music training with her grandfather at the age of 6 and performed on the stage at their club’s annual function. Then, she learned Hindustani Classical Music from various Music Gurus like Sangeeta Das, Neela Goswami, Anju Chakraborty, Arun Bhaduri, Maloy Banerjee, and Kanika Mitra.

In 2005, she participated in a singing competition “Fame Gurukul” & became the winner on 20-10-2005 with her co-singer Qazi Touqeer. In the same year, she along with Qazi Touqeer released her first album “Yeh Pal“. After that, she never looked back & gained worldwide popularity with her singing.
