Randy Meisner was an American Musician (guitarist), Singer, Songwriter, Recording Artist, and co-founder of the rock band "Eagles".

He was born on 08-03-1946 in Scottsbluff in the state of Nebraska, United States as Randall Herman Meisner.

He was born to Emilie Meisner & Herman Meisner and had an elder sister named Carol Meisner, who passed away in 2005.

He was associated with several bands like The Dynamics (1961-1965), The Poor (1966-1968), Poco (1968), and Rick Nelson & the Stone Canyon Band (1969-1971).

In 1971, he along with Glenn Frey, Don Henley, and Bernie Leadon founded their own rock band called "Eagles" and released their debut album "Eagles" on 01-06-1972 under the record label "Asylum".

He married twice; First, he married Jennifer Lee Barton in May 1963 and got divorced in 1981.

Together they had three children including an older son named Dana Scott Meisner who was born in Nov 1963.

Together they also had twins child including a son named Eric Shane Meisner and a daughter named  Heather Leigh Meisner, who was born in May 1970.

He remarried bassist Lana Rae Meisner in Nov 1996 but she died on 06-03-2016 by accidentally shooting herself. Together they had no child.

He was suffering from a lung disease called COPD and died at the age of 77 on 26-07-2023 in Los Angeles in the state of California, United States.
