Sinead O'Connor was an Irish Singer, Songwriter, Musician, Recording Artist, Activist, and Bisexual feminist.

She was born on 08-12-1966 in Dublin, Ireland as Sinead Marie Bernadette O'Connor to Johanna Marie O'Grady & John Oliver O'Connor.

She has four siblings including three brothers named John, Eoin & Joseph (novelist), and one sister named Eimear O'Connor.

She was also known by her other names like Magda Davitt, Shuhada Sadaqat.

She was associated with record labels like Ensign, One Little Indian, Vanguard, Chrysalis, Chocolate and Vanilla, and Nettwerk.

She released her debut album "The Lion and the Cobra" on 04-11-1987 under the record label "Ensign & Chrysalis".

In 1990, she received breakthrough success with her second album "I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got" selling over seven million copies worldwide.

When she was 18, her mother died at the age of 45 in a car accident on 10-02-1985 on an icy road.

She married four times; First, she was married to Music producer John Reynolds from 1987 to 1991, together had a son named Jake Reynolds.

She married secondly Nicholas Sommerlad from 2001 to 2004, third with Steve Cooney from 2010 to 2011, and 4th with Barry Herridge from 2011 to 2011.

She also dated Peter Gabriel, Richard Heslop, John Waters, Donal Lunny & Frank Bonadio. She had two sons Shane Lunny & Yeshua Bonadio, and a daughter Roisin Waters via these relationships.

She was suffering from "Bipolar Disorder" since 2007, and she lost custody of her son "Shane Lunny" in 2013, who later suicide on 07-01-2022.

She attempted suicide several times and was hospitalized herself after the suicide of her son. Finally, she died at the age of 56 on 26-07-2023 in Dublin, Ireland.
