Vivek Ramaswamy studied at a public school till 8th grade and joined St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati. After completing his schooling in 2003, he joined Harvard College and received a graduate degree in BA Biology in 2007. He was awarded a post-graduate fellowship in 2011 by the Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans. Career
After completing his graduation in 2007, he became the co-manager & partner at QVT Financial LP. He also founded a Campus Venture Network along with Travis May in 2007 for those university students who aspired to launch a business. They sold it in 2009 to the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. He quit QVT in Jan 2014 and founded his own biotechnology firm “Roivant Sciences” in the same month and became the CEO of the firm and received start-up capital of around $100 million from QVT and others. In Aug 2013, the market cap of the company has been crossed $8 billion.
He founded an asset management firm “Strive Asset Management” along with Anson Frericks in Jan 2022 and received $20 million from outside investors. The firm’s crossed $750 million in assets under management in 2023.
He became the candidate for the 2024 US presidential election from the Republican party.
