- S. J. Suryah is an Indian actor, filmmaker, singer & musician who works in Tamil cinema.
- He is one of the multi-talented stars of the Tamil cinema.
- Before entering the showbiz industry, he worked in hotels as a steward/cashier.
- He made his directorial debut through the Tamil film “Vaali” in 1999. The story of the film was also written by Suryah, and also made his singing debut with this film with the song “Vaanil Kaayuthae”.
- Before making his directorial debut, he acted in small roles in Tamil movies and then became the assistant director.
