Rashmi Gautam is known for her works predominantly in Telugu cinema. She starts her acting career at the age of 14. Her popular movies are Guntur Talkies, Antham, Next Nuvve, Anthaku Minchi, Kandaen (Tamil film), and Guru (Kannada film).
Telugu Cinema
She made her acting debut in 2002 in the Telugu film “Holi“, written/directed by SVN Vara Prasad. After that, she was seen in several Telugu movies including Current, Bindaas, Prasthanam, Guntur Talkies, Anthaku Minchi, and Bomma Blockbuster. In 2023, she was seen in a big-budget film “Bhola Shankar” opposite Chiranjeevi, Tamannaah Bhatia, Keerthy Suresh, Sushanth & others.
Rashmi made her debut on the small screen in the Telugu television series “Yuva” in 2007 and was seen in the lead role as Swathi. Next, she was seen in the television series “Love” in 2008. She participated in the TV reality show “Idea Super” in 2011 and reached 5th place. She got breakthrough success on Telugu TV as an anchor in the comedy show “Jabardasth” (renamed Extra Jabardasth in 2014) in 2013 and since then, she is a continuous anchor of this show. She is also participating continuously as a team leader in the dance reality show “Dhee” since 2016 and has won continuously 3 seasons (S11, S12, S13).
Tamil Cinema
She made her Tamil film debut in A. C. Mugil’s film “Kandaen” in 2011 as Narmada opposite Shanthnoo Bhagyaraj. Kandaen was her first film as a lead actress in Indian cinema.
Hindi Cinema
She also worked in two Bollywood movies; first, she was seen in Shyam Benegal’s film “Well Done Abba” in 2009 as Geeta, and second in Sanjeev Reddy’s film “Login” in 2012 as Vrutika.
Kannada Cinema
